Interpretation
Interpreting involves faithfully and accurately conveying an idea between two languages, capturing all the nuances of the speaker. Interpretation is not simply the oral translation of words, but the conveyance of the meaning behind them.
I prepare carefully for every assignment because it’s important to understand the topic and the specific terms used in that field.
INTERPRETER SKILLS
Confidential
To adhere to the strictest professional confidentiality, ensuring that all information I handle during my work is fully protected.
Accurate
To accurate convey the speaker’s ideas, preserving the nuances, tone, and intent of the original message.
Impartial
Act with total neutrality, without taking sides or influencing the content of the message.
Discreet

Simultaneous interpretation conveys the message in real time between two languages. It’s ideal for conferences, symposiums, press briefings, presentations, or meetings, and requires a sound equipment.
Consecutive interpreting involves the speaker talking for a while, the interpreter taking notes, and then translating once the speaker has finished. It is ideal for receptions, award ceremonies, court hearings, meetings, tours, audits and similar events.
As a sworn interpreter and translator accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, I provide simultaneous and consecutive interpreting in legal settings, including court hearings, arbitration, notarial services, depositions, marriages, expert reports, and witness statements, among others.
Do you need to prepare for an exam, an important presentation and someone to help you communicate better?
In addition to my specialisations in translation and interpreting, I also have a strong background and experience in teaching and training. I have taught in university, business and school environments. Since my student days I have taught private language classes, in 2007 I taught Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpreting at the University of Nebrija and between 2021 and 2023 I worked as a teacher of Spanish and German in two Secondary Schools in the Dublin region (Ireland).
